Marathon Chili- You can make several recipes at a time, and freeze it for the winter.
Chili
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger 90/10
3 stalks of celery chopped in small pieces
1 onion chopped
1 can tomatoes (cut with scissors if not diced)
1 can tomato juice
Spices: Chili, Pepper, Tabasco.
Brown the celery and onion
Brown the hamburger and remove the liquid fat onto a glass jar you can toss.
Simmer the hamburger with the onion and celery.
Move to a big pot, add tomatos and tomato juice.
Add the spices.
Let it simmer for an hour.
Put in containers, label and freeze
